Welcome to Southern District YMCA School Age Child Care! With more than 400 children enrolled across ten before- and after-school locations, our programs provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging place for children to learn, play, and grow.
Each day, children enjoy homework support, healthy snacks, physical activity, creative projects, group games, and enrichment activities led by caring YMCA staff. Families can feel confident knowing their children are supported, included, and having fun before and after the school day. Before-school care starts at 7:00 AM, and After-school care runs until 6:00 PM.
Parents can depend on affordable, high-quality care and feel confident knowing their children are safe, active, supported, and having fun before and after the school day.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Southern District YMCA believes every child should have access to safe, high-quality care. Financial assistance may be available to help eligible families reduce the cost of School Age Child Care.
Assistance is based on household income, financial need, program availability, and available funding. All applications and supporting documents are reviewed confidentially.
Families are encouraged to apply early, as financial assistance does not guarantee program enrollment or space availability.
