The Southern District YMCA is excited to announce the opening of a new preschool program at our Hampton Center, located at 40 Stickney Terrace. The program, anticipated to open in January 2027 will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, build confidence and develop friendships.
Through play-based learning, hands-on activities, creative expression, and supportive daily routines, children develop the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills needed for school and beyond. Our caring educators focus on the whole child, encouraging curiosity, independence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.
The program follows the school-year calendar and financial assistance is available for qualifying families. All SDYMCA childcare sponsored programs are licensed through the State of New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Child Care Licensing Department.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Southern District YMCA believes every child should have access to safe, high-quality care. Financial assistance may be available to help eligible families reduce the cost of child care.
Assistance is based on household income, financial need, program availability, and available funding. All applications and supporting documents are reviewed confidentially.
Families are encouraged to apply early, as financial assistance does not guarantee program enrollment or space availability.
