The Southern District YMCA is excited to introduce a new preschool program at our Hampton Center, located at 40 Stickney Terrace. Designed for children ages 3 and 4, the program provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, build friendships, and develop confidence.
Through play-based learning, hands-on activities, creative expression, and supportive daily routines, children develop the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills needed for school and beyond. Our caring educators focus on the whole child, encouraging curiosity, independence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.
The program follows the school-year calendar and offers flexible two-, three-, and five-day enrollment options. Financial assistance is available to qualifying families.
REGISTRATION
Enrollment is now open for the YMCA Preschool program at our Hampton Center location. Families may choose the schedule that best fits their needs:

5-Day Program: Monday–Friday

3-Day Program: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

2-Day Program: Tuesday and Thursday
Space is limited, and families are encouraged to register early. Complete the online registration form to begin the enrollment process. Additional information about tuition, required forms, program policies, and your child’s first day will be provided after registration.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Southern District YMCA believes every child should have access to safe, high-quality care. Financial assistance may be available to help eligible families reduce the cost of child care.
Assistance is based on household income, financial need, program availability, and available funding. All applications and supporting documents are reviewed confidentially.
Families are encouraged to apply early, as financial assistance does not guarantee program enrollment or space availability.
