Whether your family needs care before school, after school, during the summer, or while you visit the Exeter Area YMCA, we offer programs designed to meet the needs of children and families throughout southeastern New Hampshire.

PRESCHOOL

Our preschool provides high-quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.

The program supports school readiness while helping children build essential social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.

BEFORE-SCHOOL CARE

Start the school day in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Before-school care provides children with a safe place to spend the morning before classes begin. Children can connect with friends, participate in quiet activities, and prepare for a positive school day. Before-school care starts at 7:00 am

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE

A safe and engaging place to learn, play, and grow after the school day ends.

Our after-school programs combine structured activities with opportunities for children to relax, complete homework, stay physically active, and spend time with friends.

Children are supported by caring YMCA staff who create an environment where every participant feels welcomed and encouraged. After-school care runs until 6:00 pm.

SCHOOLS OUT PROGRAM

Support for families when school is not in session.

When available, YMCA school vacation and in-service day programs provide children with a full day of supervised activities, games, creative projects, physical activity, and opportunities to connect with others.

SUMMER DAY CAMPS

Keep your child active, engaged, and connected throughout the summer.

Southern District YMCA summer programs combine outdoor recreation, creative exploration, sports, field trips, character development, and new friendships in a safe and supportive environment.

CHILD WATCH AT THE EXETER AREA YMCA

Need a safe and engaging space for your child while you exercise or participate in activities at the Y?

Kids Club and Active Kids are child-watch services rather than full-day child care. Parents and guardians must remain inside the YMCA and be available by phone while their children participate.

This Service is a Family Membership Benefit
