YMCA School Age Child Care Programs

To Our SDYMCA Friends and Families,

We are excited to share that registration for the 2020/2021 School Age Child Care program is now open!

All new enrollment for the upcoming program week must be completed by Thursday at noon the week prior. This allows the YMCA to maintain the proper staff-to-child ratio, provide site staff with all the required state licensing and emergency contact paperwork, and set up the new registration in our billing/enrollment system. Registrations completed after Thursday at noon for the upcoming week will not be allowed to start until confirmation has been received regarding their approved start date.

Our SACC programs are designed around each SAU’s learning plans for the school year, whether in-person, remote learning, or a hybrid model. For our remote learning and hybrid model SAUs, we will be running full day care where students are able to complete their schoolwork in a supervised environment. All of our programs will continue to offer the character development, active outdoor play, STEM, arts and crafts, 21st Century Skills, and leadership development the YMCA is known for.

As circumstances change, our SACC team will remain flexible to best serve the community. To this end, all program offerings will be subject to change. We will communicate these changes as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience as we work to roll out our offerings, and we look forward to the new school year! Here are our current offerings, as of 11/09/2020:

For families in towns not listed above, we are in constant communication with all the schools we have served in the past to determine the best path forward. We hope to return to providing programming to all our communities soon. If you would like to receive updates on future program offerings, please reach out to be added to our communication list.
