YMCA School Age Child Care Programs

To Our SDYMCA Friends and Families,

We are excited to share that registration for the 2020/2021 School Age Child Care program is now open!

We are sure many of you have questions going into the upcoming school year. During these unprecedented times, we want to assure you that the SDYMCA remains committed to strengthening and being a part of our communities. We intend to offer School Age Child Care programs in each SAU we currently serve starting September 21.

That being said, spaces are very limited. We want to be able to help as many families as possible, including at-risk youth and families of essential employees. At this time, registering for our program puts you on a waitlist. We will then reach out with a confirmation email once your child’s spot is confirmed. Information collected through the registration process is used to help determine need, financial assistance, and placement--please fill out all fields as accurately as possible.

Our SACC programs are designed around each SAU’s learning plans for the school year, whether in-person, remote learning, or a hybrid model. For our remote learning and hybrid model SAUs, we will be running full day care where students are able to complete their schoolwork in a supervised environment. All of our programs will continue to offer the character development, active outdoor play, STEM, arts and crafts, 21st Century Skills, and leadership development the YMCA is known for.

As circumstances change, our SACC team will remain flexible to best serve the community. To this end, all program offerings will be subject to change. We will communicate these changes as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience as we work to roll out our offerings, and we look forward to the new school year! Here are our current offerings:

  • The Tuck Learning Campus, Exeter – 8-5:30, $200/week
  • The Sanborn Regional Middle School, Newton – 8-5:30, $200/week
  • Seacoast United, Hampton – 8-4, $100/2 days, $150/3 days
