Teen Agriculture Camp

Campers entering grades 7-10

We are happy to introduce our new Teen Agriculture Camp at Willow Pond Community Farm in Brentwood, NH. In these four week sessions, campers will learn what it means to live a healthy life and to be stewards of the earth by working alongside farmers and experience the inner workings of a traditional NH farm. Campers should be prepared to get their hands dirty as they cultivate and harvest vegetables to become socially responsible leaders. This agriculture camp provides practical experience and focuses on the importance of a shared work ethic to achieve goals. Afternoon field trips will comprise of visits to other farms in the community to broaden the learning experience. In addition, campers will take three visits each week to YMCA Camp Lincoln to participate in traditional camp activities like swimming, boating, archery and climbing. Campers can ride any of our buses to Camp Lincoln, and will be transported over to the farm each morning, or drop off and pick up directly at Willow Pond Farm in Brentwood. This program is open to campers entering grades 7 to 10.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, YMCA Camp Lincoln has made the difficult decision to cancel all off-site programs for the summer of 2020. This includes all Adventure Trips, Off-Site Specialty Camps and Teen Agriculture Camps. Registration is still open for all other programs.
