Join us on this traditional adventure and discover the rugged coast of Maine! The week will be spent taking in the beauty of Acadia national park and exploring its many ecosystems via boat, bike and climbing. Paddle part of the Atlantic Coast from the unique perspective of a sea kayak and climb the majestic granite cliffs. Then, head to Bar Harbor and explore the carriage trails on bikes and relax by the sand. Evenings will be spent next to the campfire preparing meals, telling stories and playing games while tent camping at Blackwoods Campground.

Sunday, July 14th

- 5 p.m. Introduction meeting with parents, campers and leaders at YMCA Camp Lincoln (please eat dinner before arriving)
- Gear “shake-down,” swim test, games, snack, and tent set up
- Night spent camping at a nearby campground

Monday, July 15th

- Eat breakfast
- Pack the bus and head to Blackwoods Campground in Maine
- Move in, enjoy the area, and eat some dinner
- Campfire, games and plan for tomorrows hike. Lights out

Tuesday, July 16th

- Wake up early, eat breakfast
- Head to Beehive trail head for a morning hike for wonderful views out over the Atlantic and surrounding Acadia Hills
- Afternoon spent cooling off at Echo Lake
- Back to Blackwoods campground for dinner and games

Wednesday, July 17th

- After breakfast, head to Bar Harbor Bike Shop to grab your bikes and spend the day riding
- Once bikes are returned it’s time to prepare for your sunset sea kayak tour
- After the sea kayak tour head back to Blackwoods Campground for dinner and campfire

Thursday, July 18th

- Wake up, eat breakfast
- Meet with Atlantic Climbing School for a day of rock climbing around Acadia National Park
- Spend the afternoon swimming and tossing Frisbees at Sand Beach
- Head back to Campground, make dinner, campfire and games

Friday, July 19th

- Wake up and eat breakfast
- Pack up camp and drive home
- Stop on the way for a swim and ice cream
- 6 pm parent pick up and share favorite stories
