A Note from Camp Lincoln

We want to thank you again for your continued patience as we make decisions on our summer. We have been hard at work navigating the Covid 19 pandemic and its effect on camp. After closely reviewing the official NH state guidelines, we have decided that YMCA Camp Lincoln will be operating this summer, beginning on schedule starting June 22, 2020. Although it has been our hope to operate our summer programs as we always have, we realize that we must make significant adjustments to our programs and schedules to keep our campers, staff, and community as safe as possible.

Click here for our refund policy.

+ Out of state campers: Due to the NH state guidelines, we will not be able to host any out of state campers, unless they quarantine for 14 days in NH prior to arriving to camp and reside in NH during the duration of their session(s). If the quarantine period cannot be met, we unfortunately cannot have that camper on site.
+ Our Eages and Critters Units have been cancelled: With strict social distancing guidelines, we are unable to provide a program that meets our younger campers' needs in a safe and engaging environment.
+ All On-Site Specialty Camps (Spec Ops) have been cancelled: This summer we will be unable to provide our usual range of in-depth and quality special programs.
+ There will be no bus transportation for the summer.
+ All Off-Site programming has been cancelled, including Adventure Trips, Teen Agriculture Camp and Off-Site Specialty camps.

New Camp Guidelines:

+ Our capacity has been drastically reduced this summer to enable us to have campers in groups of 10 or less. This will help us limit the number of individuals each camper interacts with throughout the session.
+ We will be implementing new drop off procedures to include temperature checks and health screening questions for campers and staff.
+ Campers and staff will be practicing social distancing.
+ Cabin groups, or cohorts, will not interact with one another, and will participate in activities together as a group throughout each day.
+ Campers will not be able to choose their own individual schedules.
+ To reduce the number of other campers each family comes into contact with, we will place siblings in the same cabin, or cohort.

Next Steps:

Please know that these decisions have not been made lightly. We are heartbroken that our beloved Camp Lincoln will not be able to operate as usual this summer. Once you have made the decision that is right for your family, please email Kristina with your choice. Please consider administrative costs, facility maintenance, administration, additional cleaning, staff recruitment and training must still be paid so we are prepared to serve our camper families. Please consider supporting Camp Lincoln so we may keep our legacy of service going well beyong the Covid 19 health crisis.

Little River Camp:

OIf you are in real need of care for the summer and live in the Exeter Area, we currently have a limited capacity remaining at our Little River program that is located at our Y branch in Exeter. Program and registration information can be found here.
