Free Weight Programs

Studies show that weight training has an amazing effect on metabolism and delivers faster, better results than all those minutes of cardiovascular exercise. The Exeter Area YMCA offers a number of programs to help you learn how to incorporate free weights into your workout program. 

Leveled Free Weight Training

Throughout the year, the Exeter Area YMCA offers various levels of weight training. Learn the basics and then advance in the free weight area utilizing dumbells, cables, and plate-loaded equipment with our certified personal trainers.

Y Barbell Club

The Y Barbell Club is an exclusive club for weight lifters. Come support and spot each other and meet with a trainer who will offer guidance and support. A $10 fee is charged at the time of registration. The subsequent monthly club fee of $10 will be added to your monthly membership draft payment.
