Art Programs

YMCA art programs are excellent opportunities for youth to gain exposure to a significant aspect of our culture. Through the arts, participants experience activities that foster self-expression and build self-esteem, while developing imagination, critical thinking, and valuable social skills. The arts are ideal in celebrating families, friends, and communities.

Each class consists of improv exercises, movement warm-ups and short scences where you'll get to play a variety of fun roles. This class is taught by Philip Kreyche, a local artist who trained and worked in Hollywood for years as an actor, director and writer. No experience is necessary and all material is age appropriate.
