Group Exercise

The YMCA offers fitness classes for people of all ages and abilities. All of the group exercise classes can be modified to be easier or harder depending on your fitness path. If you are new to exercise or looking for more gentle class options, you may want to consider the following:

  • Zumba Gold
  • Walk & Talk Meet-Ups

Recreational Sports

Adults can enjoy getting together to celebrate shared sports and interests at the Exeter Area Y! Clubs are designed based on member interest, so please let us know if you would like to see a new opportunity. LEARN MORE!

Senior Workshops

Our Active Older Adults can connect with the Y community through physical fitness, social activities, and more. Our programs are designed to accommodate a wide variety of interests and functional abilities.

Senior Art Class

Join us during our weekly art class designed specifically for active older adults. Each week you will learn a new art technique.

Knitting Club

This club is an opportunity for needlework enthusiasts and beginners to create together and learn new techniques. 

Y Connections

Join Y-Connections to meet new people and have a little fun! Some activities will include Smoothie Socials, Brunch Bingo, Flower Planting, Recipe Exchanges, Stress Relief Coloring, and more. Please share any other ideas on ways to connect!

Senior Lunch Bunch

Join us for good food and even better company! These Lunch N' Learns are a great opportunity to enjoy lunch among friends and listen to a variety of keynote speakers.

Our Active Older Adult programs are for Senior Members and the community thanks to funding from Exeter Hospital.
