Exeter Area YMCA Leadership Team

Tanisha Johnson

Senior Membership Sales & Engagement Team

Tanisha earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Leadership. She began her career in the non-profit sector in Pennsylvania, working to help families successfully manage a variety of challenges inherent in their daily lives. Tanisha brings more than a decade of experience in coaching and program management; she discovered her passion for empowering others to utilize their talent and skills to meet organizational goals. Tanisha held volunteer positions with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, and she began several community programs and partnerships at which girls learned to channel their inner confidence to be innovators and leaders.

With her recent move to New Hampshire, Tanisha and her family are excited to be a part of the Exeter community. Tanisha’s focus is to continue the YMCA mission: to be a pillar of community service. She is a believer in the power of building relationships, and lives by the adage, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” In her spare time, she enjoys cooking new recipes, reading, and spending quality time with her family!

Deanna Graham

Health and Wellness Director

Deanna is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, as well as the Health and Wellness Director at the Exeter Area YMCA. After a cancer scare that changed her perspective on health, Deanna graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a concentration in Fitness Leadership from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. She has over 4 years of YMCA experience as a Healthy Living Director. More importantly, Deanna comes with a focus on preventative, and a positive mindset: “I’ve been overweight, I’ve been sick, I’ve had children, and I’m busy. There isn’t much I can’t relate to. I want everyone to know that there is something for everyone in the exercise world. We can help you reach your goals and we are here to support you at the YMCA!” Deanna is a true motivator, and she lives joyously; in her spare time, she enjoys hiking and going on adventures with her husband, two sons, and dog!

Southern District YMCA is a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
